A rare armchair beautifully designed by the renowned Dutch designer Theo Ruth for Artifort. This armchair is one of his early progressiveScandinavian-wingback-club-lounge-chair-plywood-brown-fabric-upholstery-mid-century-modern-danish-swedish-antique-vintage-chairs-design-1950s-CH193 (1 of 23) designs made in the fifties. This lazy lounge chair is refurbished with a high quality woven sandy cream colored upholstery. The solid wooden frame shows a craftsmanship of great class. This piece would perfectly match as a stand-alone item in an interior in style of the designs from Charlotte Perriand, Pierre Jeanneret and Jean Prouve. The chair is in an excellent conserved condition.
