Set of four Mid-Century Italian brass Chiavari spindle back chairs with padded seats upholstered in golden gobelin fabric. These polished brass chairs are designed by Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi for Chiavari, named after the Italian city where they originated. The small town, located between Genoa and the Cinque Terre, began producing these chairs at the beginning of the 19th century. The factory still exists and is well-known worldwide.
