Mid-Century Modern Avocado Green and Brown Writing Desk Designed by Ernest Igl, 1970
Sold
In 1970 the Czech modern designer Ernest Igl (born 1920) designed the Jet desk, which became a cult object collected along with Eames and Herman Miller pieces. The nice color combination of avocado green and chocolate brown is rarely seen. This lacquered glass fiber constructed model – which has found renewed popularity – offers plenty of work area and storage. It comes with three steel full extension drawers with soft-close mechanism. Originally the desk was part of a corner combination of two desks.
