Sturdy mid-century design tufted chestnut deep brown leather three-seat Chesterfield sofa. The sofa shows a beautifully patinated and strongly aged leather with visible restored tear and and some unrestored wear consistent its age and us. This British Chesterfield sofa features a low fixed seating base and is produced in the early 1950s.
The design of this good looking and well-made piece, goes back hundreds of years and these types of Chesterfields are pretty much the only models that are actually comfortable. The oak legs are solid to the frame and not later screw ins, the original castors have been removed.
