Exotic Mid-Century Brazilian Patched Leather Handcrafted Lounge Chair

This exotic Mid-Century Brazilian patched leather lounge chair is extreme in its design and exhibits tribal features. A group of young Brazilian designers produced throughout the 1960s and 1970s some of the most extraordinary furniture. Using traditional materials and techniques and combining native and colonial influences with a progressive, relaxed attitude. Therefore this iconic chair is in the style of modern mid-century designers like Jean Gillon, Percival Lafer and Sergio Rodrigues. This lay-back chair is handcrafted with a frame made from tropical hardwood and is supporting a very thick leather sling seat stitched with gaucho style leather lacing.
